So this last weekend was an emotional roller coaster. We were headed to Utah for my sister's wedding and Mike's parents 50th wedding anniversary party when all of a sudden Peter came down with the croup. It was awful. Too make a long story short, I flew out with Cole while Mike stayed home with Jack and Peter. I was so sad they weren't there but at the same time I was happy I could be there for my sister.
Why does life always happen that way? I planned for weeks for this trip, buying outfits for family pictures, getting everything packed perfectly and then bam at the last minute it all goes up in smoke! I guess with kids the one thing I have to learn is to be FLEXIBLE!

Hi Marie! I am so glad you started a blog...it is such a good way to keep up with everybody. Your kids are adorable. Way to go being so flexible--it is so hard sometimes. We miss you!
